Furnace died on the coldest night of February. Mike picked up on the second ring at 9 PM, had a tech here by 7 the next morning, replaced the inducer motor for the quote he gave on the phone. Two years later it's still quiet.

Why neighbors call us back
Three things we won't change.
-
We answer the phone ourselves.
Calls go to the Sullivans — not a contact center. 7 AM to 7 PM weekdays, 8 to 4 Saturdays. You'll know who's coming before they're on the truck.
-
Flat-rate quotes, written first.
Every estimate is on paper before a tool comes out of the truck. If we miss something, it's on us — never a surprise on the invoice.
-
Carrier Factory Authorized since 2011.
Top five percent of New England dealers. Warranty claims route through Carrier directly — homeowners save weeks of back-and-forth.
Who's on the line
The Sullivans answer the phone.
I started here at 17, riding shotgun on my dad's truck. Now I run the company my grandfather started in 1998 — and the phone still rings to the same office on Cochituate Road. Most days I'm the one who picks it up.
The work has changed. Refrigerants are different, heat pumps got serious, the diagnostic tools are real now. The promise hasn't: we tell you what's wrong, what we'd do at our own house, and what it'll cost. Then we do that — on time, the first visit when we can.
If you want a flashy sales pitch, plenty of bigger shops have one. If you want someone who'll still pick up in five years, that's us.
— Mike Sullivan, owner

Reviews
Word of mouth, in writing.
A few of the four-hundred-plus reviews from MetroWest homeowners since we started logging them in 2014.

We had three quotes for a heat pump install. Summit's wasn't the cheapest — it was the only one that itemized the Mass Save rebate and walked me through the sizing math. The other two wanted to sell us a system one ton too big.
-
Asked for an AC tune-up. The tech found a slow refrigerant leak we'd had for years, fixed the line set and topped it off for less than the previous company charged us in 'maintenance fees' the last two summers combined.
Where we work
Twelve MetroWest towns, one local crew.
If your town isn't on the list and you're inside Route 495, call Mike directly — he'll tell you straight whether we can be there this week.
Questions
Worth asking before you book.
Do you offer emergency service?
Active no-heat or no-AC calls during business hours get a tech inside two hours. After hours, we dispatch at our standard rate plus a flat $95 dispatch fee — no inflated emergency markup.
Which brands do you service and install?
We service every major residential brand: Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Mitsubishi, Daikin. For installs we recommend Carrier and Trane based on twenty-plus years of failure-rate data — happy to walk through ours.
Do you offer maintenance plans?
Yes — our Comfort Club is $189 a year for a furnace tune-up in October and an AC tune-up in May, plus 15% off any repairs that come up between visits. Most members break even on the first issue we catch early.
How quickly can you replace a full system?
Standard residential installs land within 7–10 business days of a signed quote. We stock the most common Carrier indoor units; oversized or specialty equipment runs 10–14 days. When a system fails mid-winter we'll usually get heat back inside 48 hours, even if the permanent install lands later.
Do you work on commercial HVAC?
Light commercial only — restaurants, small offices, retail under 10,000 square feet. For larger facilities we'll refer you to two contractors we trust. We won't take work we can't service well over the long run.
Are your technicians background-checked?
Every tech passes a federal background check and motor vehicle record check before their first ride-along, and we re-run both annually. The photo and name on every truck match the appointment confirmation we send before the visit.
How does financing work?
Through Wisetack you can split a new install over 12, 24, or 60 months. We'll quote the exact monthly payment before you sign anything, with no prepayment penalty if you decide to pay it down faster.
